These terms apply when you use What's My Zone, including the website at https://whatsmy.zone/, map tools, API, widgets, account dashboard, plugins, and related services. The service is operated by MyClades, Olof Jönssons gränd 15, 165 53 Hässelby, Sweden.

1. Using the Service

You may use the public website and map for personal, educational, gardening, horticultural, and business planning purposes. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass rate limits, scrape protected assets, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

2. Climate Data and Availability

What's My Zone provides climate, hardiness zone, freeze date, frost-safe season, and related location information for general planning. The data is informational and may contain delays, model uncertainty, interpolation error, no-data areas, or local microclimate differences. It is not weather forecasting, safety advice, crop insurance advice, or a substitute for professional local agricultural judgment.

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free results, or fitness for a particular purpose.

3. Accounts, API Keys, and Widgets

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login token, password, and API keys secure. API keys may be subject to monthly quotas, per-second throttles, domain restrictions, IP restrictions, or tier-specific limits shown in the account dashboard or API documentation.

Widgets and API integrations must include valid keys where required. You may not resell, mirror, bulk download, or redistribute the underlying datasets, rendered map tiles, or service responses as a substitute for the What's My Zone service unless we agree to it in writing.

4. Paid Plans and Billing

Paid subscriptions, where available, are processed through Stripe. Prices, limits, and plan features may change from time to time. Stripe may handle payment details, invoices, fraud checks, taxes, and subscription management under its own terms and privacy notices.

5. Intellectual Property

The website design, code, text, logos, service names, generated map layers, APIs, and documentation are owned by or licensed to MyClades unless stated otherwise. Third-party libraries, map tools, fonts, datasets, and payment services remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

6. Third-Party Services

The service may rely on third-party providers such as hosting infrastructure, Google Analytics after consent, Google AdSense for serving advertisements, Stripe, geocoding providers, CDNs, and open-source mapping libraries. Their services may be updated, interrupted, or governed by separate terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyClades is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by reliance on climate data, service downtime, third-party services, account misuse, or integration errors.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the service, legal requirements, or business practices change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last revised. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
